Attractions on the grounds
Rides in the driver's cab
Riding in the driver's cab of the Henschel is a dream come true—for young and old alike, of course! With the roar of the engine and the hiss of the brakes, the locomotive starts moving. You can feel it with every fiber of your being. This is an experience you definitely don't want to miss!
Light railway
Small but mighty! With the light railway, we once again have the chance to show you a slightly smaller version of the railroad. It jerks and shakes, just as these historic railroads in marshlands did for many years.
Hand-operated railcar
The hand-cranked railcar is a great way to show off how much strength you have in your arms. The railcar is also a highlight for visitors to our festival every year.
Guest locomotives
This year, we'll once again be welcoming guests of a different kind. There will be plenty to see!
Unimogs, tractors, and specialty vehicles
We will have various Unimogs and other vehicles on display. Both historic and modern. But above all, they are beautiful and (almost) one-of-a-kind. You'll also be able to admire a tractor or two on our grounds.
Signal House Tours
The signal box in Raeren will be open again this year. Experts will discuss the fascinating history of the technology and give you an up-close look at the railroad.
Food and Beverages
We always make sure our guests are well taken care of. You can look forward to many delicious treats. Whether you're really hungry or really thirsty, we've got just the thing for you.
Beer carts
Cold drinks and the finest Belgian beer. Just what you need on any summer day.
Barbecue stand
The best of charcoal grilling, served right to your table by our friendly grill masters.
Coffee and cake
Delicious in any weather. Coffee from the historic fire department coffee truck tastes especially good.
Crêpes and Waffles
Fresh crêpes and waffles are sure to make anyone's day. Come see for yourself.
